Scope and Contents

The Grand Forks City Parent Teacher Council Records have been divided into three series, representing the local, state, and national levels of the organization.  Several black and white photographs were separated and placed in the Photograph File Cabinets. The photographs depict Resusci Anne, a CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) practice device.

Scope and Contents

The Grand Forks College Collection consists of school catalogs, which include listings of faculty, students, and courses of instruction. The collection also contains pictures from various catalogs, an issue of the magazine Messenger of Grand Forks College, copies of the articles of incorporation, and a commencement program. Also included are several photographs depicting the college and its students.

Scope and Contents The Grand Forks County School District Histories contain original historical sketches written around 1933. These were probably prepared and submitted at the request of Elroy Schroeder, who was then County Superintendent of Schools. The histories were written by various individuals, including local school teachers. The Lutheran Bible School Records include student rosters, catalogs, historical information, and correspondence. Most of the documents were photocopied from the Norwegian-American Historical Association in Northfield, Minnesota.

The Roosevelt School, Grand Forks, North Dakota Records (1981-1983) contain minutes of meetings, facility studies, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and miscellaneous materials.

Scope and Contents

The Samuel Leeson Papers date from 1884 to 1895 and consist of legal documents regarding cases in city court, as well receipts for expenses paid by the Grand Forks School District.
