Biographical or Historical Information
Roosevelt School, Grand Forks, North Dakota, opened in the fall of 1910 and served as an elementary school for 74 years. After many facility studies and public meetings, Roosevelt School closed at the end of the 1983 school year. It became the Instructional Services Center which housed teachers' professional libraries and since 1984 it also housed the District adult education classrooms and the alternative high school classrooms.
