Scope and Contents

This collection includes newspaper clippings, brochures, pamphlets, mailings, and memorablia related to the 1980 state and national elections. The records were accumulated by staff in the Department of Special Collections.

Scope and Contents The Arc of North Dakota v. State of North Dakota Lawsuit collection dates from 1978 through 2006 and measures 5.5 linear feet. The collection is arranged into two series based on donor: Donation by the Arc Upper Valley in August 2024 and Donation by Sandi (Noble) Marshall in 2025. The Col. Clement A. Lounsberry Papers consist of promotional material for his 1919 book Early History of North Dakota, a program from the 1953 North Dakota Press Association Convention, and an article from the Grand Forks Herald regarding the 1964 birth of Lounsberry's great-great grandchild.
