The Cora E. Smith Papers consist of information originally part of the UND Biographical File. Included are several articles, a copy of her obituary from The New York Times, and a short letter of recommendation she wrote to President Merrifield in 1893. A program from the 1964 dedication of Cora Smith Hall and remarks given by Lillian Witmer at the ceremony are also included.

Couzens Bill No. 6 Collection
This collection contains documents regarding a bill proposed by United States Senator James Couzens of Michigan in April 1929. The bill was designed to regulate the "transmission of intelligence by wire or wireless" and to create a "commission on communication." The North Dakota congressional delegation opposed the bill, arguing that violated state's rights.
