Cartooning Correspondence Courses
Scope and Contents
The final series includes lessons from two correspondence cartooning programs. McDonald participated in the Famous Artists Cartoon Course from 1960 to 1962; included are lesson books, McDonald's coursework, and feedback from the instructors. The second correspondence cartooning program is the Art Instruction Schools Courses in Advertising Art, Illustrating, Painting, and Cartooning. There is no indication that McDonald participated in this program.
