The National Youth Administration Records date from 1934 to 1943 and consist of correspondence, student applications, student assignment cards, reports, and miscellaneous materials.  The collection documents National Youth Administration activities at the University of North Dakota during the Great Depression and the early days of the Second World War.

The North Dakota Civilian Conservation Corps Records consist of materials from Company 746 and Company 747, both of which were located in North Dakota. Also included are questionnaires filled out by alumni of Company 747 at a company reunion held in July 1977 in Tioga, North Dakota.

Scope and Contents This contains reports, newsletters, recipes, and bulletins published by the North Dakota Federal Emergency Relief Administration, which was part of the larger Federal Emergency Relief Administration (FERA), one of the major New Deal programs to attempt to bring relief to Americans during the Great Depression.
