The first series consists of newspaper reports, letters to the editor, and editorials, beginning in 1930. The majority of the articles are from regional newspapers, with the Grand Forks Herald being the most prevalent. The folders have been arranged in chronological order. Researchers should note that the collection does not contain every single instance the logo and nickname have been reported in print.
