Scope and Contents

The Helen M. Nitsch Scrapbook documents Nitsch's time as a student at the University of North Dakota in the first decade of the Twentieth Century. A majority of the material in the scrapbook consists of undated newspaper clippings. Nitsch graduated from UND in 1911 with a teaching certificate and the scrapbook appears to date from around this time.

Biographical or Historical Information

Helen Marie Nitsch was born on August 28, 1890. She graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1911 with a teaching certificate and in 1949 with a Bachelor's degree. She died on April 1, 1981 in Tucson, Arizona.
