The Reverend Clarence Hanson Papers consist of correspondence, dating from 1943 to 1962. When the collection was originally donated in 1976, it also contained Hanson's voluminous, and very general, newspaper clipping collection. This material was discarded in 2016.

Clarence Hanson was born on October 25, 1905, in Murray County, Minnesota. He was married to Edna M. (Ausen) Hanson. He died on May 24, 1983, and is buried in Jasper, Minnesota.
