Biographical or Historical Information

Dr. Arthur Gray Leonard earned a Ph.D. in Geology from Johns Hopkins University in 1898. He was a faculty member at UND from 1903 until his death in 1932. He was an active member of the North Dakota Geological Survey, as well as the United States Geological Survey.
