Biographical or Historical Information
"Ole Arnold Moe, 87, former Ross banker and farmer, died Sunday.
He was born October 30, 1887, at Newfolden, Minnesota. He attended the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and later was employed by the Merchants Bank at Fargo.
Ole married Frieda E. Pape, December 7, 1912, at Fargo. They lived for 49 years at Ross. He owned and operated a bank at Ross and later traveled for the former State Banking Department in western North Dakota. He farmed in Mountrail County until retiring and moving to Minot in 1970.
He was a member of the Presbyterian churches at Ross, Stanley, and Minot.
Survivors: wife; two sons, Donald O., Minot, owner of Don Moe, Inc., and Stanley, Los Angeles, California; and four granddaughters.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, Minot."

Custodial History
The materials were given to Bruce Gjovig by Billie Jo Crouse in 2010. Gjovig then donated the materials to Special Collections in 2017. Crouse is a granddaughter of Ole Arnold Moe.
