The Florence Henry Papers date from 1913 until 2010, although most of the material is undated. Henry was a poet from Grand Forks and the collection contains numerous examples of her poetry, as well as from other poets.

Biographical or Historical Information
"Miss F.J. Henry
Funeral services for Miss Florence J. Henry, 70, 917 N. Fifth St., who died at a local hospital Friday, will be held at 1:30pm Monday at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Earl H. Butz officiating.
Burial will be at Hoople, N.D. The body will lie in state today at Byers Funeral Chapel and at the church from noon to 1:15pm, Monday. Pallbearers will be Walter Kistler, William Page, James A. Graham, Frank Hewitt, John Croy and Harold Jensen.
Miss Henry had been a resident of Grand Forks for 45 years. She was born in Ontario, Canada, April 19, 1892, and came to Grand Forks from Park River, N.D. She was a niece of the late George A. Henry, dean emeritus of Wesley College.
She is survived by a niece, Mrs. R.A. Graves of Woodward, Iowa, and a nephew, M.E. Moore of Dayton, Ohio."
