Scope and Contents

The Mariam B. Kalis Papers consist of photographs regarding her personal and professional lives. A number of photographs depict local theatre productions in which she performed. Also included is the 6 May 1982 edition of The Chronicle, a Grand Forks newspaper. The edition features an article regarding the Great Grand Forks Community Theatre's production of "The Imaginary Invalid," in which Kalis played the role of Angelique. The material dates from 1981 until 1983.

Biographical or Historical Information

Mariam B. Kalis was a cataloger in the Technical Services Department of the UND Chester Fritz Library in the early 1980s. During that time, she performed in several plays by the Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre.
