Biographical or Historical Information

Fred G. Lundy was born in New Market, Ontario, on June 24, 1861. He graduated from Medical School at the University of Michigan in 1884. He was also educated at the Trinity Medical School of Toronto and the New York Polyclinic. Following his graduation from Michigan, Dr. Lundy was licensed to practice medicine in the Dakota Territory in July 1885 at set up practice in Inkster. He married Lila Woods in September 1893; the couple had one son. He was active in politics, as well as the A. F. & A. M., the Court Crescent, and the Order of Foresters. Dr. Fred Lundy contracted pneumonia while attending the Republican State Convention in Fargo in April 1896. He died there on April 19, 1896.
