Biographical or Historical Information

The Kindergarten Club was a social group which included some of the most powerful political figures in late 19^th and early 20^th century North Dakota. Members included Alexander McKenzie, Judson LaMoure, Governors Louis Hanna and Elmore Sarles, and Jerry Bacon, to name a few. When not directing the political affairs of North Dakota, the “Club” members engaged in boisterous partying, including drinking and playing poker.
