Scope and Contents The records of the Ku Klux Klan in North Dakota consists of newspaper articles, Klan publications, and historical journal articles regarding Klan activity in North Dakota and, primarily in Grand Forks, during the 1920s. Also included is a photocopy of the application and charter for Grand Forks Klan #1 to incorporate as a fraternal society. Scope and Contents

The M.T. Lillehaugen Papers consist mainly of family correspondence (some in Norwegian) and political correspondence regarding the 1952 Republican National Convention to which Lillehaugen was a delegate. The collection also contains various newspaper clippings related to agricultural issues, state banking problems, prohibition, the death penalty, and compulsory military training in North Dakota schools of higher education. Four photographs are also included.
