The Elsie Brown Papers consist primarily of diaries, correspondence, scrapbooks and newspaper clippings. The diaries and correspondence span the years 1932-1935 as well as 1949. Also included are newspaper clippings about other family members.

The Children of Israel Congregation Records consist of materials related to the construction of the synagogue. Included is correspondence between Isadore Papermaster and the Royal Finance Company of Fargo regarding interest on a note for the building fund. Also included are two ledgers and several financial reports regarding the building fund.
