This series consists of the text of speeches Laird delivered to civic groups, professional organizations, University audiences, and governmental entities. He also presented testimony to several congressional sub-committees, particularly during his tenure as Director of the Office of Oil and Gas, U.S. Department of the Interior, from 1969 to 1971.  The speeches have been arranged chronologically.
