F-H: 1929-30

The Organization Department was responsible for securing new members and verifying that the members delivered their wheat to the Association. This series consists almost entirely of correspondence, the majority of which are to and from local organizers and solicitors. Most organizers operated within a specific territory, and their correspondence reveals the farmers' attitude toward the Association, as well as local conditions in the field. Arranged first are circular letters to field organizers, miscellaneous materials, reports and correspondence of the local organizing councils, correspondence from bankers and business people who acted as solicitors, and complaints. The correspondence from the individual organizers is next, and is arranged chronologically first and then alphabetically.
