UND News Bureau Transcript of Kennedy's Speech
Scope and Contents
President John F. Kennedy visited UND September 25, 1963, to deliver a speech at the UND Fieldhouse regarding environmental conservation. Despite the fact that President Kennedy was only on campus for "one magic hour," the event remains one of the most notable in UND history. Selected materials related to JFK's visit have been digitized (https://commons.und.edu/jfk-archive/).
