Scope and Contents
The Wells Gage Family Records consist of genealogical records, a family history, and personal histories of Wells Gage and his family. Arranged first are genealogical records of the Gage family followed by a family history compiled by children and grandchildren of Wells Gage. Also included are personal histories containing newspaper clippings, photographs, and correspondence documenting the lives of Wells Gage and other family members. Additionally, there are materials for his wife, Minnie, and nine of their eleven children. The personal histories of the children are arranged in order of their birth.
