U.S. House of Representatives & U.S. Senate Bills, 1927-1933

The Dana J. Tinnes Papers is a collection of papers written and collected by North Dakota State Senator Dana J. Tinnes. As a nationally recognized economist, Tinnes collected various bills from the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate regarding the usage and control of money in the United States economy. He partnered with North Dakota native and U.S. Congressman Olger B. Burtness to write the Fair Dollar Bill introduced to Congress. He was also a lecturer on monetary economics at UND for several years before his death. Starting from when he moved to North Dakota in 1912 with the ownership of two grocery stores to his death as State Senator in 1933. Tinnes collected many a sources of the United States economy as a business man and Senator.
