United States v. Clarence Sweets, et al, Cr. 4-86-24. Fraud charges resulting from a Minneapolis "boiler room" operation in which $298.00 packages of vitamins were charged to credit card numbers obtained over the phone from individuals told they had won free vacations to Mexico, and that these numbers were needed to "verify their identity". Warrant for arrest with lengthy Affidavit of Probable Cause, detailed documentation relating to search warrants, pre-trial motions, proposed jury instructions.
