United States v. Joseph D. Ramirez, et al, Cr. 3-84-47 and 3-84-85. Convicted of conspiracy to import cocaine, in a major smuggling operation by private aircraft. Ramirez was admired as a civic benefactor by the citizens of Princeton, MN up to the time of his arrest, and was the key mover in the construction of the town's airport as well as a hockey rink and other public facilities.
