Scope and Contents
"Purchased in California on a trip. It had an even longer skirt, but Mother wasn't comfortable with the new look so she shortened it. Note the interesting use of selvagee on lapel. Considering how nicely the jacket is tailored it is surprising that the skirt was not lined. With its padded shoulders and classic lines, this suit would be wearable today. I nearly kept it, but it is too short waisted and large in the bust and waist."
