This collection consists of copies of various speeches delivered by A. C. Townley, as well as newspaper and journal articles concerning Townley and the Nonpartisan League. The material dates from 1917-1959, and was used by Alice Poehls in her Master of Arts thesis, "An Analysis of Selected Speeches of A.C. Townley, 1915-1921." The thesis was completed at the University of North Dakota in December 1978.
