He married Maire Victoria Schiller on 15 February 1887 in Argyle. Morin died on 5 July 1922 and is buried in Saint Rose of Lima Cemetery in Argyle. This material was donated by Jerry and Julie King, White Bear Lake, Minnesota, on 28 October 2010 (2011-3071). The material consists of autobiographical material, photographs, and the constitution of the Societe 'Union Canadienne Francaise'" of Argyle. Yves Frenette, France Martineau, and Dr. Virgil Benoit highlighted the life experiences of Morin when they wrote Les Voyages de Charles Morin: Charpentier Canadien-Français in 2018.
